During a Hall of Fame weekend parking lot party, while listening to Kristian's uncle's band, Jimmy & The Soulblazers, Jason surprised her with a very public proposal. The lead singer of the band called Kristian to join them on stage and then immediately began singing "My Girl." Jason came out from behind the stage got on one knee and proposed in front of a crowd of hundreds including all their friends and family.
